Semi-retired/volunteer coordinator for Paws and Think, Inc. Married 2
My manager at Sprint told me I needed a work-life balance, so I started volunteering with or dog.  After a few years, the life-work balance was again askew and I took early retirement to work part time for Paws & Think and spend my free time volunteering for them with one of our registered therapy dogs.  Once again the balance is out of whack as I work too much (the organization has grown from about 25 to 500 in the 8 years I've been involved.  I love earning about the human-animal bond and even enrolled in a class at Denverr University's Graduate School of Social Work and I now have a certificate in Animals and Human Health.  I counsel hospitals and other venues wanting to start therapy animal programs as well as my other activities.  I found my passion a little late in life, as I am anxious to return to school for a masters in canine behavior - but being retired I can't afford it!
Steve Gardner and I divorced in 1991 and during our separation I met Tom Janes. We celebratedd our 25th anniversary in May.   Betweeen Tom and I we have 5 kids and 8 grandkids.  We also have 4 dogs and I want another!  You'll see mostly pictures of our dogs on Facebook, as 3 of our grandkids are in Corona, CA; 2 in Holland, MI; and 3 in Brownsburg, In (30 minutes away).
